Apprenticeships

The provincial government recognizes certain trades and provides technical training. For those recognized trades there is a formal process combining technical training and practical experience. The duration of this process is typically 3 to 4 years. Upon successful completion, the apprentice receives an Apprenticeship Certificate and Trades Qualification Certificate with Red Seal endorsement.

We support apprenticeships by indenturing apprentices to the Training Plan and providing administration while actively supervising and monitoring their progress throughout their apprenticeship.
