One-year entry level trades training at an accredited college

Upon completion of this apprenticeship program, the apprentice will receive:
· Apprenticeship Completion Certificate
· Inter-Provincial Trade Qualification Certificate

FIRST YEAR Training Topics:
(6 Weeks)

· Servicing of Brake Systems
· Servicing of Hydraulic Systems
· Servicing of Wheel Type Equipment
· Servicing of Pneumatic Systems

SECOND YEAR Training Topics:
(6 Weeks)

· Overhauling of Diesel Engines, Servicing of Engine Support Systems
· Servicing of Gasoline and Alternate Fuel Systems
· Servicing of Electrical and Electronic Systems

THIRD YEAR Training Topics:
(6 Weeks)

· Servicing of Air Conditioning
· Servicing of Gasoline and Alternate Fuel Systems
· Servicing of Diesel Fuel Systems
· Servicing of Electrical and Electronic Fuel Systems

FOURTH YEAR Training Topics:
(6 Weeks)

· Servicing of Brake Systems
· Servicing of Drive Axles and Drive Lines
· Servicing of Standard Transmission Systems
· Servicing of Automatic and Powershift Transmissions
